Governance

Zakachain is governed by decentralized autonomous organization.

Through voting, the platform can issue grants, make changes to smart contracts, and modify the chain source code.

Glossary

Delegation

A ZAKA holder cannot use VP until they delegate their votes to an address. Delegation can be granted an unlimited number of times, but only to one address at a time, including the owner's own address. Delegation does not block tokens, it simply adds VP to the delegation address.

Quorum

For a proposal to pass verification, the proposal must meet a minimum voting threshold.

Zak Power

Zak power is calculated from the total balance of ZAKA associated with the wallet connected with the DAO.

1 Zakacoin = 1 Zak Power (ZP)
